It used to be all about the body or athletic skills but I have a Sim that is max level athletic and he loses a lot of fights to less athletic Sims. He gets the dazed emotion for a few hours when he loses. I used to like having my Sim commence attack on rude Sims in ts3 but its not working so well for me in ts4. Have any of you gotten a chance to experiment with this?

Same problem here. Was wondering the same thing myself. Even my bodybuilder loses fights. Maxed fitness. Uses all the fitness machines. Angry, Confident, etc... doesn't seem to matter. I finally figured townies have some kind of superhero trait I'm unaware of. :\

For xth time.There is no fighting skill in Sims 4. Yet.All fights have random outcome.Want the skill? Join modders, mod it in.

I always though it was the sim with the highest athletics that won. I've had sims win fights, but I also haven't tried that action in a very long time. Maybe one of the expansions changed something.

Hmm I was wondering if emotions had anything to do with it. Don Lothario turned over my Sims trash can when Done was angry so I had my Sim attack and Don beat him 3 times in a row. I don't know if his angered state helped. I had my Sim win a fight once but it was 1 out 3 with some random Sim. He got the confident emotion after he won the fight.

Hm. Just thought of this. I get the 'Practice Fighting' option a lot. I wonder if there's a hidden skill in that option. I'll have to experiment and get my sims to 'Practice' more. I do it on occassion because I think it's funny and they always congratulate each other afterwards. I must look further into this.

No, I did that with my criminal Sim. She was evil/mean and spent a bunch of time on that punching bag. I thought it would help her win fights. It didn't. She lost every single one.

The odd thing was that while she was at the lot and after the fight ended? She got the confident moodlet so it seemed like she had won the fight. Then she gets home and gets the "dazed" one. She didn't "lose" the fight till she got home!

Yeah, I just finally gave up on it.

Well at least I know it's not just my Sim that's getting beat up. Maybe you do have to practice fighting or something.

See my post above yours, it didn't help. I got her all the way to fitness level 10 using the punching bag, didn't help at all. She had the option to practice fighting (I think it was called that) and didn't help her win.

I meant the social action to 'Practice Fighting.' It pops up quite a bit for my maxed fitness sims.

Ah, never had that.

I had it pop up on the punching bag but not with one another. Then again, I rarely play more than one Sim at a time lol.
