Worldwide means something that is the same in the whole world (i.e. the whole game save).
I don't know, it was mentionned that the weather would be different "for each world", so it could be the same for holidays
Question. So does this mean if i have families living in Oasis Springs they probably wont be able to experience snow?
I don't know if it will snow in OS but in any case they will be able to experience snow by travelling to a lot in a world that has snow during winter.
Ok. Thanks. Though that kinda blows since it sounds like there are only "certain" worlds that will experience ALL weather types. Probably Willow Creek, Brindleton Bay, Newcrest, maaaybe San Myshuno (maybe). But im doubtful of Oasis Springs getting snow and Windenburg getting really hot summers. Which upsets me since Oasis Springs is my fav world and i quite like Windenburg too. So in order for my sims family to experience ALL weather types at home, i will have to move them.
Im going to hold off until we get more information, but if this is the case, this is a big let down and feels like the devs once again controlling how i play the game.
A lot of players were worried about the snow in Oasis Springs, in the sense that it's not realistic to have a lot of snow in the desert. I aree with them, and I think that the devs chose simply more logical solution. There's also always the weather machine so you can make your Oasis Spings unique with heavy snow and all :)
