I haven't even touched JTB but droids can be used outside of Batuu? Like do they not function/work or they just have no real use but can be played with like a "pet" still?
They play music lol. They won't follow your sim, but I think you can make them move around with the datapad, so there's that if your sims are into really fancy toys. I think you keep the relationship? But not like with pets, as they don't have autonomy, and they won't do anything useful like on missions.
