Island living, Seasons, Snowy Escape, but especially Get Together, it changes the game. (If you want to see your sims ride bikes and want cute outfits university is the pack for you (university not for the world or university but seeing sims ride bikes is nice and I love the clothes and I feel it had potential to be amazing... But it fell sort. I also like city living.
I use the kids room and parenthood stuff packs to give kids and teens something.

I have a few other packs I like but don’t recommend get famous I like but most people don’t, Eco Living I love the town and some of the families but it honestly gave me depression because keeping things green is hard AND boring. The designer brand pack I use the clothes once they are replaced with Simlish and actually want a sim to become a photographer (haven’t played the career yet)
I’d also recommend getting Sims 2 and 3 on your computer if you have them they still hold up.
