linoya123456 You mention gameplay recommendations... A few of the many things that can spice up your game…
- Purchase expansions. They can add an incredible amount of interest and depth of possibilities for play, depending on the particular pack and what it adds. Some expansions even add careers, skills and a lot of interesting options.
- Enter challenges. On the forum you can find many threads with gameplay or build challenges that can be help you build creativity and skills. This also provides interaction with other players with similar interests.
- Up your challenges in your households. If you play a large household, challenging career &/or financial goals, multiple households, make collections, etc. it can increase your challenge level considerably. Imagine the possibilities!
- Run a business. I would recommend getting the Small Business pack for that. You can run your small business on your lot and take care of your sims at the same time, employees work a ton better than with Get to Work, as does selling from displays.
- Build. Many gamers enjoy creating lots, rooms or households for uploading to the EA Sims 4 Community Gallery for others to download.
- Take a break from your game and try something else for a while. When you come back you may have renewed interest and enthusiasm.
- ‘Play with a Friend‘. If you have either a real-life or online friend who plays Sims 4, you can make creations for each other and swap them, whether they’re the same type of item like households, or two different items like exchange a house for a family.
- Try adding a skilled sim or a favorite couple into the household to help increase the skills of any particular sim in your household (by mentoring them), and help raise kids. I enjoy doing this to add skills and money to the household so I don't spend time continually grinding to care for and develop the basics. Sometimes these sims are tagged as #SimsWithLifeEsperience or #SuperSim in the gallery.
- Cheat in money so they don't have to worry about it if you've already gone through that process in the past.
- Turn aging off if you want to feel more invested in the sims you play. You can always age up or let die if a death comes around for sims that you're not interested in continual working with. For instance, I made a sim-self and her hubby when I started the game. I have versions of them moved into all of my saves. Sometimes I play with them or their children involved, sometimes not. I've aged the family and descendants up to a certain level. Same with my SuperSims. In these cases I have tons of time in with them and I feel divested, plus they build skills. Then if I add them in with a new household, new descendants, etc., I become more attached to the new ones over time, plus they get close with my long-time sims.
Clubs. I have friends who swear by and heavily use clubs. If you use them heavily and creatively, clubs in Sims 4 really can be a powerful tool for gathering assistance around your lot, social networking and much more.
