In the U.S. a part time job is a job that is less than 30 hours a week and little to no benefits. An odd job I guess your referring to things like seasonal work or unspecialized work, etc.
In the Sims 4 and Sims 2 teens are the only ones who have part time jobs. Babysitter, barista, fast food, manuel labor, retail employee.
In Sims 3 there was bookstore clerk, grocery clerk, receptionist, spa specialist, mausoleum clerk, alien test subject.
For the most part in game Sims can make good money on their hobbies. Like gardening Sims selling their product fisherman Sims can earn off their catch.
