What Rooms Consists Your Sims House?

Depending on the family I play but usually I have:

Foyer
Living Room
Kitchen
Dining area
Guest bathroom and laundry
Study
Bedrooms usually around three plus ensuite and general bathroom
Kids room (If the family I play have children)

I usually start with a small house. It will have a living room/kitchen combined and then one bathroom and one or two bedrooms.

I like open plan houses so the living room, kitchen and dining make one big space.

sometimes a music room - complete with piano, violin, guitars etc and a sofa for sims to sit and watch the musical sims

I like large dwellings. I tend to build my own, but when house-shopping, I go for the living room, dining room, kitchen, 1-3 baths, a Study, a Master Bedroom w/attached bath and 2-3 more bedrooms to accommodate children. Sometimes, I add a playroom or what used to be called a Rumpus Room, for the kids. One of these times, I just may sneak in a true Library (and pray Colonel Mustard doesn't come along with a rope… or a candlestick or knife, whatever the weapon du jour is. ;)). Ooh, I just gave myself an idea about building a house based on the classic Clue game board … Do I even have a copy of said game anymore?

I usually only have bedrooms for the amount of sims I have, 1 or 2 bathrooms a living room/kitchen. I never get past that because when my sims become to rich I ruin their lives. I may switch things up and let them enjoy the finer things one day.

@Scorpina2009 I'l tried to add the Music Room sometimes in the future when I build a home for my Sims. :smile:

My current Sim home is Pique Hearth, The Pancakes house.
Little patio front and back with little foyers. Large living room, kitchen and dining downstairs. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs (well, one bathroom one ensuite).
The laundry is in the main bathroom. Stacked washer and dryer.
The master bedroom kind of has this reading nook which has been turned into the space with the computer/desk because there’s now a bassinet in the corner.
The Pancakes teenage daughter will probably have to share with her little sister when she turns toddler.
