What size home do you prefer?

Somewhere between Medium and Large Mansion, I guess. I like the space to be large, but have few rooms.

I actually like to play in small houses or apartments. I don't really know why, maybe because I prefer to play rather poor families, as there is more of a challenge than with rich families who can afford everything.

I like small homes, especially ranch style. I prefer those IRL as well.

Small to Medium. I like a bit of challenge, definately no money cheats and prefer to build starter homes, when I build at all.
When playing, I like that stage when the family isn’t struggling per se, but they’re still not filthy rich.
Small-Medium homes are also easier to keep clean and for my computer to render. What can I say, I like to micro-manage.

I like single story homes but I usually want 3-5 bedrooms, so I guess that’s medium.

Medium, but on the small side :) In most of my worlds the biggest mansions are still unoccupied, although I try to have as many rich as poor households in my game.

Small for one sim, but generally medium (More room for a family). I'm sick of ginormous houses, even though my sims are several Generations old (TREE) and I've deleted millions of simoleans by now (I've been making up my own inheritance rules so the money is distributed between sims).

I play, and build, larger residences strictly because I can't stand the cramped feeling I get when trying to play the game. I like to zoom in the camera. Invariably something blocks the way and it all just feels too squishy. My Sims don't have to be 'rich' to live in a larger space, either. I just use ye olde freerealestate on, and voilà, they've got the right house.
