My point is.. i was planning to have at least 1 or 2 of their kids to live in the continuing luxury or more, but it seems hard now. Maybe i can manage to win some good money before they all go off to the city centre and live in an apartment on their own. We will see. Maybe one day ill get there and experience the big mansion feeling in the sims 4. Just to experience it, but i still prefer the medium sized homes :) I wouldn't want one in RL either even if i had the money for it.
Idk if you saw what I posted a minute ago, but I was telling my trick of having the master painters in my neighborhood take some paintings over to the struggling family's house, and leave them outside on the walls. Then the family can sell them in build mode, and get tons of money. Of course it depends on how good your neighborhood painters are, and how many masterpieces they paint, but mine are awesome and often do "paint from reference" paintings worth $3,000. And I have 4 master painters so it adds up fast - I am used to building a 30 x 20 lots. When I do I build an area for fitness, wellness, crafting etc. I can build like this on a smaller lot like a 15 x 20 lot too. I wouldn't call it a "mansion" but space management that packs a lot of punch. I have 3 floors, a basement and sub-basement with a place for rooftop fun since all I can do for a 4th floor is a rooftop entertainment area or a place for the observatory and rocket. I would call it a mansion,
- I like medium lots as they are still cosey but not oversized
- I like medium lots with one bedroom and a whole bunch of other rooms. I add on later in the game depending on how many kids my sims have, or if they have any at all.
- I like all sizes probably. I have been watching The Sim Supply build small/tiny homes and they look so cool and cosy! I usually build medium sized houses in my games, just because I don't really build with a budget. I like building mansions from time to time, and big penthouses for rich families.
- Usually small/medium. I think it's more fun to build small/medium homes than big ones, they're too much effort and hard to avoid getting repetitive with the design.
Also, I just prefer smaller spaces for my sims to live in. Feels cosier, more realistic, and feels like they still have something to work towards. - Phonecallz8 years agoSeasoned AceI chose medium... nothing 1 bedroom, but nothing 6 bedrooms either. :D
- It's nice to have the odd large mansion here and there as they look quite good in neighbourhood view; however I tend to prefer small families (2-3 sims max usually) so smaller lots are more manageable and functional. :)
- I prefer large mansion sized homes, lol. That way I can live vicariously through my Sims.
- Large lots but medium houses.
