It would sure be nice to have really handy sims who could do upgrades, but I never seem to get them too high with their handiness skill. (I know, I could use cheats, and maybe sometime I will.)
Is there a skill that you don't like?
I've found it easier and a little bit more fun to level the handiness skill using the woodworking bench, couple that with a focused moodlit and your sim can master it pretty easily and you get some extra money here and there.
But to answer the original question I don't think I have a lest favorite skill I know I very rarely use the mischief skill so that may be it subconsciously.
