What small things do you wish you could tweak in the game?

townie toggle. possibility to disable game generating new townies for everything from passerbys to random npc and force game to use existing sims in other households for npc and actual households in worlds for passerby sims

It should be quite simple to implement but it would fix 99% of the game for me

for cas

i would like copy outfit and copy makeup buttons like in older games it would save so much time i might actually get to making some extra looks for my sims

and link alien true form to their disguise if i want to

and id also like if cas didn't auto place accessories cause it really likes to cover your sims with every accessory on earth if you forget to correct it

for build related

painting ceilings

and perhaps way to lock stairs cause meanwhile its more realistic to lock doors its a game and i dont like my guest going to fourth floor to use random items when party is on first floor and yet adding fences also is bit of unneeded complexity

The ability to jump from household to household without having to exit and go through loading screens--this would especially be helpful in build mode, where you might want to work on more than 1 property at a time

Hair colour sliders/more colour options, it's always been a big want for me.

Scarves - I'm surprised they still don't exist in game? Not even with nifty knitting. It would make sense to just have them as an option like necklaces..

Outfit categories - I've found a lot are a mess, for example some hairstyles dont show up in hot/cold weather, beanies don't show up as winter wear and I've found some suits don't appear in the formal category...

Body hair - Not a big deal for me as I have the mod for it, but I feel sorry for console players. Why isn't it there - in a life simulator?? If I want to make a sim with full facial hair it makes zero sense for them to have zero body hair

Realm of magic - I'd like to be able to tweak it so spellcasters actually appear in the main game. I don't like how they've been locked away in a realm to keep people from complaining that there's occults in their game after they bought an occult pack. Plus they should just add a toggle in settings so those who don't want them can just turn it off so those who do like them can actually get the full experience without it being cut back.

More age features - I want dark circles and more skin details to make sims look older.

I would love a wider range of hair colours, and just the ability to edit swatches for items not even a colour wheel just a few extra options we could choose ourselves

Yes, hair colors.

I would like to get back favorites, I know they don't do much in gameplay but I would really enjoy having my sims having a favorite music, color, food....

- Random aspiration button because I like things random in my game.

- Whims to be relevant again. New whims for all the packs that weren’t supported and for them to be specific to sim traits.

- Snow depth.

More hair colors really would be fantastic, they would compliment the new skin tone update well and would start making CAS feel just that much more complete.

If we had the create a style feature of TS3 too, then I could match clothes a bit better too I think - like then I could make a short sleeved shirt the same color as one under a jacket.

I do find it kind of crazy how much better some stuff was in TS2 and TS3. I think there are definitely great features and graphics to TS4, don't get me wrong, I'm not here to completely hate on the game haha, but there's a lot to miss that was already included in previous games

Something small?

• Covered receptacles. I get annoyed every time that I see an uncovered garbage pail or clothes hamper. Spend the time to create and animate lids or have make it so that open garbage receptacles spawns ants and roaches. Either option or both would be appreciated.
  

• I would like dishwashers that don't make the side walls of the counters disappear
  

• I would prefer for EA/Maxis to stop selling the same activities over and over again, except on different tables. It's been twenty years. It's about time that EA/Maxis started creating activities so that they can be placed on any surface -- chessboards, chemistry sets, children's activities, streaming, and music equpment, etc. Perhaps then the art and object creation teams could spend more time creating functional objects that players don't already have.

I agree with a lot of what has already been said. Additionally, I'd like:

- The ability to buy a second home. Rentals are nice, but sims can't normally work or go to school while on vacation.
- A real estate system where sims can buy community lots.
- More simple reactions. Sims should react when another sim is moving out or when a child gets an A.
