I'm not sure if these capture what I want.
I would be fine with a world like Sunset valley chopped up into districts with 15 to 20 lots each.
All lots are are open within the district, but you would get a loading screen if you go to another district.
I would be fine with career rabbit holes for traditional Sim careers, since these sims go to off-screen rabbit holes anyway.
But I would also like Sims 4 interactive career lots that require a loading screen for specific game play.
I don't need all my worlds accessible like TS4 does. Actually it's kind immersion breaking to see sims out for a jog in towns that feel too far away from where they live. One large town per save okay, with associated adventure and travel destinations. And if worlds are broken up into districts, the world can be larger than The Sims 3's worlds.
