What spells and potions are you expecting?

I need transformation. I need my sim to be able to transform Vlad in to the toad he is. And I need him to stay in that form when I play other households aside from the witch that will transform him.

I don't think that's too far fetched. I would classify that as a Glamour Spell, in other words Transformation Spells, which is subject of Enchantments
You could use glamour spells to change genders, Size, and Shape, Age, you can even masquerade as other sims if you wanted to... I hope that's a power we can do.

Animal transformation would be absolutely hilarious and I really need that as well.

Maybe, by extension, you could turn frog, fish, insects collectibles (back?) into sims as well. It would make for an fun storyline!

That would be hilarious!!! Vlad deserves it so bad for all the night invasions. And I would LOVE if we could transform animals or objects into sims, that would be incredible.

As long as there’s fire (inferniate confirmed), ice and lightning I’m good. Love flashy elemental magic.

I was thinking today it would be nice to have a "Stop time" spell. Everything would pause, including all the sims, except for the caster.

Also thought of a "Mayhem" spell that, once cast on a certain lot, would bring caos to that lot, making sims fight, streak, kiss unknown sims, pass out, start a fire or even die. It would be quite funny.

And an "Animate" spell that could be cast on regular objects, like a chair, and it would allow you to have social interactions with that chair, and have some animations (of course not a mouth and things like that, but a little something) and maybe even give the object a name.

I think the potion with the green plus over it isn't necessarily a luck potion but an increase needs potion, but I could be wrong.

I think practical magic has been covered well here, but I have some ideas for mischief magic.

• Change a sim's personality - They would be randomly assigned new traits
  
• Drain a sim's needs - Just one or all of them
  
• Remove all of a sim's moodlets - Will be unable to gain more for a time
  
• Mix up moodlets - Instead of becoming focused playing chess your sim becomes sad
  
• Transform a sim into a plant sim or a frog
  
• Levitate a sim into the air and leave him dangling for awhile
  
• Relieve a random object or a small amount of money from a sim
  

As for untamed magic, it could be anything really

• Dueling spells if more than one duel is available
  
• Resurrecting the dead into zombies, vampires, or the living
  
• Directing lightning to strike a sim or object
  
• Temporarily freezing a sim
  
• Starting a fire
  
• Conjuring a storm (if you have seasons)

I love the levitation one, it would be so funny. And the resurrecting dead into zombies OMG how I want zombies back.

That would be much like using the satellite dish from GTW. You can make the town dance, or have to pee badly....no matter where they are. I like the dance one and have used it often in my game....
