What The Heck Does This Mean?

One of my Sims got invited to an event in Windenburg. It was raining and shortly after he spoke to the gal who invited him, she said something on the order of it was nice seeing him and then left. So, I canceled the dance party and sent him home. Mind you it's raining in Brindleton Bay, too. But the lot was quite normal when he left, now the fencing looks like this:

I made a Batman sim. I called him Bruce Darknight. He's married to Batgirl, that I called Barbara Darknight.

UPDATE: I shut my game down after that gaming session. I always delete the localthumbcache.package. When I opened it up again the next time, the problem had resolved itself. The fence is back to normal.
