The leak account has also hinted towards a hobby theme (several hours before tweeting about Paris and a French location). Now if this is true, I can't really wrap my head around the pack variety this year. Does it make sense for EA to release three packs that all involve different hobbies over the span of five months? (first EL with fabricating, candle making and juice fizzing, then a knitting pack and then a possible hobby pack). Don't you think they'd spread it out more?
Makes me think that the Paris pack is either gonna be something really unexpected with a historical twist or a niche-theme like heists or royalty, or the romantic/city exploration theme I'm hoping for.
Funny you associate the French with royalty. :joy: "crocobaura;c-17552222" wrote:

Not per se, I just meant a theme that is not specifically linked to France or paris o:)- GUILLOTINES

This is at the top of my wishlist now- Karamazov1236 years agoSeasoned AceI actually made a list of hypothetical vacation packs that I'd love to see. Here's what I had for a French pack.SpoilerThe Sims 4: Romantic Getaway:
Set in Champs Les Sims. Visit several iconic tourist destinations and pose for pictures, or sample the local foods and take in the romantic atmosphere. This pack is more about visiting landmarks and experiencing culture than collecting or going on adventures.- New collection: Vacation Photos. If you take a picture of a certain sight (even if your sim is in front of it), it gets added to your collection and serves as a memento of your vacation.
- 10 Lots: Art gallery, nectary, Palace of Versims, two cafes, Le Tour Tower (has the Haunted Lot Trait), park, three rental houses. I know that's a lot for a Game Pack, but I feel like we need a lot to make a vacation world that's worthwhile.
- Visit Performer Street and see mimes, musicians, artists, and sims who are peddling their hand-crafted wares.
- New rabbit hole: Le Cinema. You can watch a movie and gain a moodlet that depends on which film you watched. Some sims will come out of the movie confused because they didn't understand the movie, or the subtitles ran too fast for them to read.
- New radio station: Eurobeat
- Visit the not-Eiffel Tower, pose for pictures in front of it for your collection.
- Learn to make nectar at the nectary (with Nectar Making skill), or buy some from their gift shop.
- You can make nectar and sell it for a nice price, which allows you to make a living if you want to stay on vacation indefinitely.
- New foods: four different kinds of nectar, baguette, frog legs, escargot, gourmet cheese wheels and slices.
- Explore the catacombs underneath the city. It's just a basic maze with some hidden items and scary surprises - nothing special, but nice if you're using the first-person camera.
- New instrument: Accordion (with Accordion skill)
- New NPC: Mimes. They can teach you how to perform pantomime for cash. Basically reskinned golden astronauts from City Living.
- New WooHoo locations: not-Eiffel Tower. You can also WooHoo in the beds in the Palace. If a sim catches you though, you will receive a $500 fine and your vacation automatically ends. (Because you're being kicked out of the country.)
- New Skill: Champs Les Simians Culture. You now have the ability to read all the signs at destinations to get more facts about them. "Whisper in Les Simian" to instantly give a sim a flirty moodlet. You can tutor sims and do a 6-hour "Lecture on Culture" Rabbit Hole for cash (and fame, if you have Get Famous.) Perform "Les Simian" Romance options for greater success.
- If you get pregnant while in CLS, get knocked up by a CLS townie, and/or have a baby born in CLS, the baby will be level 3 in the Simian Culture Skill when they become children.
- As a country of romance, you will get a +2 Flirty Moodlet while visiting. If you're sim is Unflirty, Evil or Mean, they instead get a +2 Uncomfortable Moodlet. Creative, Ambitious and Materialistic sims get a +2 Inspired moodlet.
- Sims get new, selectable photography poses ala the Moschino Stuff Pack.
- If you reach Gold in your wedding event, you can visit CLS, for free, for your honeymoon. Maximum of 7 days.
- Hatch special eggs and raise baby dragons.
New Aspiration: Champ of Champs (Location)- Step 1: Visit the nectary, make a bottle of nectar, buy a souvenir
- Step 2: View 10 pieces of art at the Art Gallery, Take a picture of/with a sim at a landmark, Busk at Performer Street
- Step 3: Spend a night Le Tour Tower, explore the catacombs, read three signs at destinations
- Step 4: Drink four different bottles of nectar, reach Level 5 of the Les Simian Culture skill, Whisper in Les Simian, Kiss or WooHoo with a sim at the not-Eiffel Tower or Palace of Versims.
- Reward: Sophisticated Lover. WooHoo with other sims will always be completely satisfying, and the moodlets for them will last much longer. Gain Charisma from WooHoo.
- New collection: Vacation Photos. If you take a picture of a certain sight (even if your sim is in front of it), it gets added to your collection and serves as a memento of your vacation.
