Man, I feel like I'm the only person who loves Gloomy. And I do. I love it so much. <3
I like gloomy too :) I think I used it too much for a while because most sims are so cute when sad, so I had to stop. I don't think i have used it for irl years now that I think about it haha
Next cas sim totally gets it! ;) - Cheerful and outgoing when my mom picks the traits, loves the outdoors for gardeners, and romantic.
- TS4: Genius, Self-Assured, Romantic, Creative and various selfmade traits.
TS3: Proper, Avantgarde, Natural Cook, Bookworm, Loves The Cold, Loves the Outdoors. (<- might not be the right trait names, played in german for the longest time) "astera00;c-16652235" wrote:
I use genius waaaaaaayyyyyy too much  I've tried branching out a bit but there are still traits I haven't used. A few I wish were a bit stronger, for example neat. My neat sims don't seem to clean up any and all messes as I'd like ASAP. Also, since I don't do woodworking much, I don't bother with perfectionist, does it make much impact on gameplay otherwise?
I've started using this website called wheeldecide.com to try and randomize my choices a bit more. I'll let myself pick one trait if I absolutely must have it, but then put the others in and let the wheel decide (haha) for me. Actually, I use it for other things too, not just sims and you can save the custom wheels you make as well, which is awesome :sunglasses:
Anything creative, like music, painting, cooking ,writing will utilize the perfectionist trait . Anything a sim creates has to be perfect to them- For my main game, genius, ambitious, good --- I used to pick bookworm a lot, but then, I decided that ambitious has more benefits.
- Top three would be Geek (for the help in collecting), Creative (I have a lot of writing and painting Sims) and Active (for my athlete Sims). Rarely use any of the negative traits like Evil, Mean, Hot-headed etc. for my playable Sims (I'll switch up townie traits using cheats/mods) but my new goal for my current family is to have them and their descendants complete all the careers (they're already working on all the collections), sort of my version of a legacy. That means I'll likely have to have some shady characters in the family tree eventually. Even with playing on Long lifespan it'll take a few generations since a Sim can only play a single track of the standard careers, and haven't decided if I'm going to include the three GTW careers.
- I love the clumsy trait for some reason.
- all my sims had music listener on them, until the earbuds started breaking my games, so I had to take out that trait, because they auto get the earbud when they have that trait. only the sim I actually play now carries it. the one I most use is self assured.
