- I have tried yes, but I guess it is a little hard to stick to the rules for me. But I admit it is interesting at first.
Right now I'm doing my own challenge - Unfortunately I'm someone who starts a new game often, aka I get bored of my sims from some point. I don't know, it is really annoying for myself, but I can't help it - I just can't get attached to my sims in the Sims 4. Things in gameplay are way too repetitive too...
So now I started to play differently from my "normal" style. I have never been so entertained before. Normally I don't care about pre-made sims, but I always remembered Goth family, Don Lothario and the twin sisters, Nina and Dina from The Sims 2. I made my own sims - normally I made just 1 sim, but this time I play with 3 sisters. One of my sim is 5 star celeb and he is pregnant from Don Lothario. But besides her, also Cassandra Goth, Nina and Dina are pregnant from him. Guess it will be a big drama soon in the town :) - Fluteline247 years agoSeasoned AceI like cheating too much to play challenges!
- Sharooonia7 years agoSeasoned AceI don't play any challenges. I do play most of my families legacy style but probably without as many rules as the actual challenge.
- I usually do whatever I want or I play Rags to Riches but one of my main saves right now is the Decades Legacy Challenge and I am LOVING it!
- When I'm not building I usually do 7 toddler and 100 baby challenges. Sometimes Black Widows lol.
- blueybluesky7 years agoSeasoned AceI've only started the not so berry challenge recently and plan on starting a normal legacy soon. Other than those I never really played challenges.
- Legacy challenges are my gameplay. I love genetics and like following families through the generations. I make up stories for them and have each character act based on the back story that I have created for them.
HOWEVER, I do not play by the legacy rules. I play how I want to play, with money cheats if the family is rich and more than eight Sims per household sometimes. Etc. I don't play by the rules. But I do go through the generations.
So...should I have said that I don't play challenges then? Other people are saying that. I don't follow any challenges rules (the official ones anyway), but I have made a few of my own. My vampire Sim can never get a job. I have planned out the generations and know exactly how many kids each one will have. I make each Sim only act according to their preset personalities. I can never move the heir's parents out. They have to die of old age in the house I am playing. And more.
I still consider it a legacy challenge. Just not Pinestar's OFFICAL legacy challenge. I still want to make it through 10 generations. I have the right end goal. And that's enough for me to call it a challenge for me. I'm not just randomly playing, aging turned off, doing whatever I want. I have goals for my Sims' progression that will eventually lead to their deaths and the next generation taking over. - Kathykins7 years agoSeasoned Ace

This, very much!
I've done a few Rags to riches and Teen on the run (without cheating!). They don't have that many rules, makes them easy to remember. - Daephene17 years agoSeasoned AceI don't play public challenges, but I do frequently create my own.
- I don't really play challenges but I do tend to be a legacy style player, I've only done 2 challenges the Not So Berry and Black Widow
