I hope they atleast call it prom
It doesn't have to be a prom, though. My school had 3 dances - Homecoming, King of Hearts - which would have been our "love day" dance- and Prom. And a "Morp" to go with each one for people who didn't want to go to the big fancy dance downtown (our proms were never in school facilities, always at a hotel or country club) - DaWaterRatNew Vanguard

I think it would just make the most sense since this event is basically prom without it actually being called prom. Even the follow up message after the option was chosen alludes to the party being prom. For continuities sake it would be a good idea but I guess we'll need to wait and see what they do.
Yeah, there are a lot of school pop-ups that we'll have to see what happens. It's been long enough since I saw a Love Day pop up that I don't really remember the text of the follow up.
On the other hand, really the difference between Homecoming, KoH, and Prom was the theme, the court, and the time of year. Oh, and Homecoming and KoH were open to the whole school, while Prom was Juniors and Seniors only. But they were all formal high school dances, which really aren't very different from each other. - lemonnellaSeasoned RookieI think the Love Day party should be separate from prom. The text pop up is tied to the traditions of the holiday. Some players move that holiday around on the calendar, or they remove it completely. I think the pop up is fine as is, and I hope no changes are made.

On a related note... I wonder whether we might still be able to do proms in any world even if we only have active school in one world. The more I think about it, I think it could be significant that we have two separate lots for school and for school events. I.e., maybe the actual school lot is more like the military base in Strangerville, but maybe the school event lot is placeable anywhere.
In some ways, as someone who doesn't really care about active school, that would be the best of both worlds for me. I could dabble in active school just to see what it's about, but then for most of my teen sims in other worlds, I could send them to rabbithole school every day, but then still place the smaller lot for active graduation and active prom. I know it wouldn't be everyone's ideal situation, but it might be a reasonable compromise, and it would definitely be perfect for me. (Particularly if there's at least some update to extracurriculars for rabbithole school.) - telemwillSeasoned AceI think the love day pop-up should stay. Prom is a night event. The love day event is more of an in school party.

I wonder if we ll get an updated Love Day Dance in the prom building. I hope teens can have more then 1 prom dance and this is an opportunity for adults to have a Love Day dance too. I think that prom building works for other events to. "catloverplayer;c-18145968" wrote:
