Before Seasons, Oasis Springs was my world of choice to start playing new families in because I love the arid, rugged look and the small reward of finally being able to enter Forgotten Grotto after leveling up my sims Handiness.
But after Seasons came with my favorite season Winter and its wonderful snow/blizzard effects, which rarely occur in Oasis Spring, all new sims I create I pick Windenburg to play in to enjoy watching the snow fall and my sims play in the snow. (And to rescue sims who don't get the message that it's winter time and exercising in shorts is a bad idea.)
