This is Sims 4 all expansions don't expand the core most features are locked to the worlds they come in such as Island Living which did not add the ability to swim in all worlds and City Living did not add the ability to create apartments Cat and Dogs left strays to only the world that came with the "expansion" most of the expansion features feel like a mini game. Not that I want reality tv unless there is a emotions personality and traits overhaul but not expanding the overall game fits in very well with Sims 4 expansions. But really if any pack would be within theme of fixing emotions personality and traits it would be a reality TV pack because that it what drives them.
That's why I said I think developers have forgotten (from previous developers) what an EP is supposed to do and be. :D
