- Magdaleena967 years agoSeasoned AceOh, I'd absolutely LOVE shifters in general. Dragons, harpies, extensive CAS with plenty of parts to mix and match with, hell yes. Please. I'd absolutely buy that stuff. But again, it probably won't happen.
Part of why I enjoy vampires so much is because they can turn into bats. In this game it's just for transport, sure, but just the idea of it is so good. Immortal bat people..... :)
But yeah.
Werewolves.
We need them back and better than ever.
I've already got a pair of werewolf siblings waiting for this pack before I want to play them. Please. - LBonne247 years agoSeasoned Ace

Ultimately, If I were to design a werewolf pack (haha pun!) I would make it a "Shifter" pack instead and have a variety of werebeast types from wolves and cats to birds (Harpies anyone?) and bulls (Minotaurs!) and lizards (Dragons!) with an extensive CAS to customize horns, feathers, fur, features, etc. My original idea was that this would be part of a full-blown "Mythology" pack, including the cultural legendary beasts around the world.
But unfortunately, I don't see EA really doing that, so I'll zero in on werewolves for now.
I'd like Werewolves to have a more ancient tribal feel. I still feel that being multi-cultural would be the way to go, with tribal tattoos and scars, piercings, massive hair styles with tangled looks, braids, plaits, dreads, hair bands, etc. The clothing could be a variety of hides and furs, with more torn looks and some fantastical designs. There could be varieties of body hair and fur for both males and females, and claws and nails. The "dark form" would be the hybrid wolfman form, but we should have the option to give them more scary, wofish features. There should also be new deeper, rougher voices and a new hybrid walk style.
New traits could include something like, rude, aggressive, carnivorous, messy eater, noisy, or passive. There could be new skills of hunting and survival, maybe animal breeding. They could incorporate a rabbit hole type hunting to keep it from being too graphic, or they could jump into the bushes like the Cats and Dogs do and come out with meat. I'd also like to see them have a playable wolf form and a "pure bred" trait or system that determines their rank to other werewolves.
The build/buy could include log cabins, tree houses, and den homes with trophy decor that you'd see in a hunting lodge. There could be more wood carving items, taxidermy, and tanning leather goods. They could even throw in canning.
I picture the world being a mountain forest with a lake and some fields and rocky areas. Maybe we could even have simple lake boating and fishing from a little boat. There could be a tiny island in the middle of the lake that one small lot could fit on.
I don't imagine there to be an extensive power system so much as a rank system, (Alpha, Omega etc) which would determine the level of strength and stamina of the Werewolves. This should be able to increase or decrease by variables using Pure Breed rating, fighting challenges, and maybe age. I do see them being much stronger and more powerful at night.
And we also need a Fear system patched in so Sims can quiver in their knickers in fright.
That's my dream, anyway. I really hope werewolves don't get left out.
This is really good stuff. And I definitely get your shifter vibes. I wrote a whole post about expanding it past werewolves too. And I love your carnivorous and messy eater. It could go against the vegetarian trait. Can you imagine a vegetarian werewolf? Craving a bleeding piece of tofeak.
If you wanna see the stuff I added for shifters : https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/947085/ideas-for-a-new-supes-pack#latest - For heavens sake - no eating on top of tables. That really, really grossed me out. I liked most of the rest. But I still liked the way in Sims 2 the weirwolf became one first through the bite of the alpha wolf. That was right out there as I liked it to happen and what I saw as the most realistic when they would change like you expected. During the day they need to stay teir human selves though and just change as the lore shows it between moon and maybe reactions to their loved ones and friends being under some kind of attack can make them change to help their buds and family. it did n't always just happen with a full moon - it just happened every full moon but sometimes to protect their families - so I would like that. If their anger grew or they felt loved ones were in danger or they needed their other form them cool. Just go to college clasees in human form please and eat at the table like you r human self - no dogs on the table. PLEASE!!!
Oh and speaking of dogs at least weirwolves should get beds even if regular dogs can sleep on bed - they still are half human. No dog mats for the weirwolves I hope. And no litters. Respect their human side. - SheriSim7 years agoSeasoned Ace

I would love it if you could have different types of Wrewolves, like a Werecat, Were Lizard/Dragon. Werebear, Wererat, and even (personally I'd like this) a WereGodzilla.
Makes me think of a changelings.... I think I might rather have changelings than a werewolf....lol. I would rather have Witches, Robots and Fairies before werewolves myself. I would most likely buy the pack for the furniture, clothes, hairstyles, plants, activities, and such rather than the werewolf itself. But, when they do come out with werewolves since I believe they are the next most popular after witches and magic the main thing I would like to see is body hair for sims. And I think they should add some shaving animations. Women shaving legs and arms in the tub or shower, and men trimming their mustaches and beards, and shaving if they don’t have a beard. I just expect the animations rather like brushing teeth. Maybe they could add a new moodet.... feeling pretty or looking good, that could maybe add to the confident feeling (like brushing teeth). I don’t know if they have moodlets like that for the vanity table, but they should. I think it would be especially cute for teens to have their first shave. - SheriSim7 years agoSeasoned Ace

I agree with Lunar Cycles, It would be a powerful tool.
So if you started a new game you start with a new moon, and each night is the next phase in the cycle.
Therefore each night the werewolf will experience more intense Headaches, feeling Tense, fits of Rage. all signs of the Wolf taking over. Or maybe after The Half Moon, Werewolf Sim will start feeling those intensities.
Hoping werewolves as young as Children would start bearing the burden of their powers.
CAS Clothing, I kind of Still want more Victorian Era clothing, Early 20th Century at least.
Also Torn/ripped versions of clothing
Build/Buy, I want Diamond candle Chandeliers, Candelabras, Grand windows similar to Romantic Garden stuff, but better! curtain drapes, just really ornate objects.
Also Distressed, versions of that furnitures, Fallen Chandelier broken on the ground, torn curtains, as if there were a fight, between Werewolves and hunters, and I wanted to turn the Mansion my werewolves resided in to ruins, I could.
The world is the last thing I would worry about, Since the pack is about werewolves. But I am open to a couple of Ideas.
1) 1800s France/Italy, I'm going for the Aristocratic Life Style for my Werewolf sims. Adam and Diane, met when they were 18 and 16 respectfully, It's a Romeo and Juliette Tale with a prolonged happier life, but still tragic ending. Their Life Beginning is titled Werewolves in Paris, but it's not what you think.
2) A forest World, slight mountainous terrain, great Lakes, large lots, a map large enough to fit a few estates. (3-4) lots, all sizing greater than 64x64 is all I need. an estate on a Cliff side, over looking a large lake to the west, to the North East a Mountainous Estate if you wanted to think Ski lodge you wouldn't be wrong. south, central, between the two, is a Valley Estate. the neighbor hood is private, Maybe a little touristy.
Oh! I want (Silver ;) ) Gates To look like this:
http://thoughtyouknew.us/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/breakers-mansion-floor-plan-the-breakers-gate-beautiful-gate-picture-of-the-breakers.jpg
to deter unwanted guests.
Wolfsbane must kill. As a Plant, by nature, if a werewolf gets close, Their Energy Levels will deplete, they will feel uncomfortable. as long as it's close by (Until a collects the wolfsbane and takes it away, Sim with wolfsbane in inventory can still be as deadly), the wolfsbane will kill in 24 hours, as long as the werewolf is in proximity.
Silver, I've always wanted new metals in the game, along with Gold. Not sure how we could use it but I'm sure something would come along.
Pack mentality, I've heard, when it comes To Alpha, Beta, Omega.
"You should be the Alpha because you're powerful, not you should be powerful because you're the Alpha."
I sort of disagree and agree... Which is why I designed it the way I did.
I want it to work as an inheritance tho. Either the next strongest/oldest in the pack becomes the Alpha.
But the way vampires works You become a Grand Master as you gain EXP, I don't want a whole family/Pack of Alpha's though. Although If that's what you want (Hey Teen Wolf Fans!) Then the way to do that is to make them all alphas of their own pack, and have them form a pack... even still you need an Alpha of that Pack.
What I want is, Okay my fatherSim and the MotherSim are both Alphas, in their own right (I love a power couple+Power Struggle). They have 3 kids, Born as Omegas, and after they grow up experience a few Moon Cycles they become Betas.
The Oldest/Strongest Beta can't become an Alpha unless the Parents either die, or take the role as Deltas.
that's how that should work. Although, that doesn't mean you can't usurp the Alpha Pack... but that leads to a fight to the death... and unfortunately that probably goes against the blasted ratings.
Should you choose to break away from the pack/the pack break away from you/Some how lose your pack to a Raid of Hunters. I agree mastering you Werewolf abilities should be crazy difficult. think about it, you're alone, with no one to guide you... and the full moon comes and the wolf takes over.
For Strengths and Weaknesses I rather it be done this way:
Strengths:
Omega (Level 1) The Newb, Subordinate.
Howl I - Pathetic, you sound no better than Chihuahua getting stepped on
Strength I - you are now equipped with great Strength but you don't even know how strong you actually are.
Agility I - you are now equipped with great Speed but you don't even know how strong you actually are.
Empathy - The ability to absorb another's, physical and emotional pain, taking it on as your own.
Healing - You find your Healing a lot faster, your immune system is far better than the average human. Go ahead jump in the flames and see what happens... please don't it'll hurt, but should you survive, you'll find you'll heal a lot faster than the average human.
Beta (Level 2) The Veterans who've seen a Few full moons, and lived to tell the tale.
Control I - {Sim} has mastered half control, still full moons require a lot of focus.
Howl II - Slightly Better, Looks like the local mutts are respecting you
Strength II - To be second in command, you must be Stronger than Everyone else.
Agility II - To be second in command, you must be more nimble than Everyone else.
Wolf Form - Master the art of becoming an actual Wolf, Conflicts with Beast Form
Alpha (Level 3) - The Leader.
Control II - {Sim} has mastered Full control, Even during a full moon, it's no big deal.
Howl III - now thats how you make people tremble before you.
Unlock: "Summon Pack" interaction
Strength III - the Forces of the moon empowers you,
Imbued Claws - An ancient trick devised to "Retrieve" and "Bury" Information by tapping into the nervous system.
Note: Werewolves can learn Traits, Skills, Relationships (Who they hold most dear), their secrets. As well as make the victim forget what just happened.
The Bite - The Power to Turn another into a Werewolf/The Power to turn a werewolf into a Human.
Note: Sims you bite, are your werewolves, you have power over them and only you can force them to shift at your will during a full moon,
Delta (Level 4) - Perhaps it's a step-down, or a step-up, or neither, however you see it you unlock powers not even an alpha can obtain
Ultimate Control - mad with power, You gain Control over all werewolves,
Endurance - Whatever got you this far amounts to nothing without endurance. All the nonsense life has thrown at you, this will help.
Note: Trust, it will especially when in the rain, ice, heat, Hunters, Daemons, Aliens, Ghosts you name it.
Weaknesses:
Senseless - The ol' tracking skills aren't what they use to be.
Vulnerable - Conflicts with Healing. you are now, as vulnerable to illnesses and intoxications as, let alone Wolfsbane is far more poisonous.
Impulsive Canine Disorder - (ICD) For for those who desire their werewolves to behave more dog like.
Unlocks interactions such as (Sniff Inappropriately, Roll in Trash, Pet, Receive Belly Rubs.)
Beast From - {Sim} has completely lost all control and all humanity, for those who want that Horror movie CGI Wolf form.
conflicts With Human/Wolf Form
I think they should add silver, and platinum too, and copper if they don’t have it. Do they have diamonds? I can’t remember. And, I think it would be cool if you could make jewelry with the metals and the stones. You could give jewelry as a gift. Have a jewelry box to store it. Sell it in a store (jewelry counter). And of course wear it. - LatinaBunny7 years agoSeasoned AceAs long as they give me a hybrid wolf-man like the statue and maybe a pack mechanic or ranking, and some reactions from other Sims, I personally would be pretty satisfied.
- Loanet7 years agoSeasoned AceTransform into a wolf.
We've got all the doggy animations to do it with. - I would just love the option for our CAS sims to have male body hair with or with out weirwolves. LOL. I sometimes feel simearth is body wax world.
- Yea a leadership would be great. I would like them to eat raw food again. And I would like them to be able to transform into human/wolf AND into a wolf (dog). They can do that by will later on.
Just a question is there a equivalent of this thread for witches ? - This is a horrible thought, but whatevs. .I'd like my werewolves to physically attack sims when the moon is full. And possibly eat them. They'd have a craving for raw meat of any sort. So raw steaks etc could be added into the game.
I noticed the closed off cave in the vampire world with the nearby wolfsbane and wondered it if could be a portal to their world?
The vamps could be their mortal enemies. They could hunt them in addition to being hunted by sims. And like with the vamps, there could be an antidote for their condition. I wouldn't want them to be treated similarly to dogs (newspaper swatting, etc), but as the fearsome hunters they are.
I wish they could mostly dwell or originate from a wooded area like Granite Falls.
