- barisaxySeasoned Newcomer-Snow depth, of course. (the fact that even Snowy Escape - a pack that literally had snow in its title - couldn't give us snow depth is...quite something. That's putting it very nicely.)
-For trees to flower in the Spring and then turn into leaves going into the Summer (and also fix those trees that are eternally in bloom, that's so awkward).
-Unicorns.
-Make each 'segment' of each world fully open.
-Greatly expand the worlds by making at least a lot of the decor buildings into actual lots.
-Give us worlds like in The Sims 2 and 3 where we have the freedom to place lots where we want. - JesLet40Seasoned AceUpdates to packs the way they give us updates to the base game. Not necessarily big refreshes, but little additions and things that keeps them relevant and updated. Like a changing booth to Get to work, the addition of sleeping bags to Outdoor retreat or things like adding more lifestyles (and making them less annoying) and more milestones or Social Bunny post options.
I doubt they'll ever treat the packs like they do the base game but I would really love it if they did. Now they are sort of frozen, when they could be more dynamic. - thefirsttemplarSeasoned ScoutAgreed, would also be more incentive for people to buy more expansions if they add stuff for cross compatibility, or maybe just some new outfits or other stuff.
The added items could be displayed when looking at the content of these expansions, if relevant.
And generally packs should interact more with each other. Why can't I use a lightsaber to cut through vines in the jungle? Seems perfect for it. - PandoraTOSeasoned VanguardGreat idea! Like they should add a bit of infant and toddler cas and bb to packs that came out before infants or toddlers...
- A rewind option. But not necessarily to change the past, although you could. Imagine playing something out and rewinding to watch it all unfold.
- HavenRose2020New SpectatorI would like the tuning for in-game events and pop ups to be adjustable for the amount of playtime. It feels like a lot of new features are tuned for the simmers who buy an expansion, play it furiously for a weekend to do all the things, then don't pick the game up again for another 4 months. It means that whenever something new is introduced, the game pushes it at you relentlessly, everyone complains how it keeps happening, then it gets nerfed completely so no one gets to enjoy it. I wish they'd let us adjust the frequency of all the things we've paid for to account for the difference in play style of someone playing 5 hours a month versus 50+.

- The customization options for objects in The Sims 2, where you could mix existing textures, patterns, and colors. Obviously, The Sims 3 system was much better, but I understand that it might have used too many resources. I think expecting a system like The Sims 2's is not unreasonable, and in fact, I came to believe that with Dream Home Decorator, we would finally have it. However, if it wasn't implemented then, it's unlikely to be implemented now.
Cars (and obviously parking spaces and garages). I don't even expect cars that you can drive like in The Sims 3. Just an object that you can have stored in your house, and it appears with you at the places you visit. This feature might seem quite basic, but it has been ignored for so long that I doubt it will ever come.
Differentiated height between teenagers, adults, and seniors. I also had a small hope that this would be implemented with one of the expansions focused on life stages; unfortunately, it never came.
I think those are the three main ones. I'm somewhat disappointed because I don't think they were too unrealistic and added a lot to the game, but I'm almost sure they won't happen. But I could be wrong; less than a month ago, there was a fourth one, which was creating multifamily lots. And similarly, there were already expansions where their inclusion seemed ideal, so I thought there was no hope. Still, it's finally a reality, so who knows. - > @Flikka_Flikka said:
> Probably an unpopular wish, but I want a system wherein all CAS assets other than the ones you chose when initially creating your Sim are locked until your Sim (or household, perhaps) purchases them with household funds, preferably at a brick-and-mortar store.
It would be great. I don't think there would be any objection if an option to enable/disable the lock on unpurchased items were included. - sleepsinbloomSeasoned RookieAn option to either 'remind later' or 'never remind' for every expansion-specific notification (and their audio sting) for festivals. I'm assuming there will be more festivals with these notifications (with stings) in the future, but I have doubts there will ever be this option.
