What would you think if the Sims wasn't a "Click to Move" game?

Using the arrow keys rather than clicking where you want to go is one of my least favorite aspects of every other game I play. It feels so limiting and it frequently annoys me.

With the Sims click system, I can send a sim to go in one direction while I take the camera view to go look at something else in a totally different direction. This is really important to me for storytelling, creating good screenshots, checking out what NPC sims are up to, and controlling more than one sim in my household.
