What would you think if the Sims wasn't a "Click to Move" game?

Not sure how to title this, but the Sims is one of the only games now that runs on a click to move system - if you want your sim to go somewhere, you click on the ground and tell them to go there. ...

Sims isn’t suitable for those controls. The entire point is being the overseer, looking in on the Sims day to day lives. 3rd person would imply you *are* the sim, and with that you have a completely different type of game. Sims 4 definitely dips it’a toes in the “you are the sim!” Type of gameplay but it doesn’t work.
