I am the type of sims player that likes to put themselves in the game. It is more fun for me to have that type of connection to my character, and I don't like multitasking with multiple sims. I think we should have the option for 3rd person direct control for those like me. I have installed a mod for it, and even though it's glitchy I haven't enjoyed the sims this much since ps2 sims 2. I feel the option should be added, then if we want to play it that way we can. I get so bored pointing and clicking. I want to live in the house myself, as weird as that may sound. It's way more entertaining for me. Sims is such a versatile story telling game. Direct control as an option shouldn't take the current gameplay from others if you choose not to use it. Variety is important and I'm surprised it hasn't been added yet. I hope someone could at least consider the option, it would bring in a different play style. Not everyone plays the same.
