I have everything negative turned off in game options. I'm having my sim make a video game. She's dazed and needs to do something creative. She shouldn't be getting dazed without any game options set that way, and making games is creative! How is my sim getting negative emotions from the way I'm playing her? Is there any way to turn off the negative emotions without using a mod?

You can shift-click your sim and make her happy maybe? Hopefully that will work? Cheat her needs to make sure everything is full?

aaah @mightysprite you mentioned it just as I was about too, I remember with one of my scenario's I played my sim got dazed because of the midlife crisis, also if you have Get to work, your sim can be getting sick and feel dazed too. Other than that I think a juiced community causes Dazed sims as well, but those are usually the townies you see Dazed.

Yes I have growing together and it's called burn out. Thank you where it came from is solved.

Glad you got your answer! Dazed can also happen due to electric shock/lightning (which the second I assume you have turned off), too much caffeine and a long list of other things.

Mmm I wonder if it just prevents her from actually losing her job if you have that unclicked, but she still gets the dazed feelings and midlife crisis happen to her.

I have noticed a lot of simmers complain about dazed sims, but I actually purposely make mine dazed with the "bubble machines" lol. I think it's funny. I truly understand being frustrated when they won't get into the mood you need / want them to be in, though - happens to me all the time
