What's breaking my sim?

I have everything negative turned off in game options. I'm having my sim make a video game. She's dazed and needs to do something creative. She shouldn't be getting dazed without any game options set that way, and making games is creative!

How is my sim getting negative emotions from the way I'm playing her? Is there any way to turn off the negative emotions without using a mod?

  • Glad you got your answer! Dazed can also happen due to electric shock/lightning (which the second I assume you have turned off), too much caffeine and a long list of other things.

My sim was sick the day before she got dazed, but I made her drink a whole pot of green tea. From the tea pot that came with dlc, can't remember which one. I unclicked everything so she don't get layoffs, etc. So I was surprised to see the dazed emotion.

Mmm I wonder if it just prevents her from actually losing her job if you have that unclicked, but she still gets the dazed feelings and midlife crisis happen to her.

I have noticed a lot of simmers complain about dazed sims, but I actually purposely make mine dazed with the "bubble machines" lol. I think it's funny. I truly understand being frustrated when they won't get into the mood you need / want them to be in, though - happens to me all the time

I have weather effects, acne, and something under acne, (can't remember the name) turned on but everything else is off.

I hope it means she doesn't get the midlife crisis when it's unclicked. I play with ageing off.

I remember being happy whenever my Sim got dazed since it rarely happened, but ever since I installed Eco Living last year, I'm getting really tired of the dopey faces when visiting other neighborhoods that have the "Juiced" N.A.P. :D Sometimes I control a Sim in that neighborhood just so I can get that N.A.P. (or the fighting one) repealed. Shame how it's changed.
