It is good for all the extra space and lots which can help when adding new sims. I usually don't play in that world myself; but I do make use of the empty lots for other sims and sometimes to place restaurants, retail stores, etc...I used to have one grocery store, an alternative clothing store, restaurant and some stores I place for different holidays (with Seasons I will have a Spirit Halloween type store, pumpkin patch with the carving station from Spooky Stuff pack, A Christmas tree farm and maybe like a pool or spa store that sells like diving boards, etc...something for each season).

While my personal favorite world now is Brindleton Bay, out of all the base game worlds specifically, I do like the look of Willow Creek the most. Though lately I have been using Oasis Springs due to some of the large lots and replacing them with different homes. Not my favorite world though.

I like Oasis Springs. I'm very fond of the "town square" sort of area by where the Caliente's live. Also, because of the lack of backdrop lots in this world (I'm sure there are some, but they're not very noticeable to me unlike in Willow Creek or Newcrest), it's more suitable for a variety of different styles of homes. I can put a modern home or a spanish home or a traditional home wherever without feeling like it doesn't fit the backdrop.

Willow Creek. I've never been a fan of desert worlds. I ruled out Newcrest as my versions of Newcrest never look good. They're just dumping grounds for pubs and restaurants.

Willow Creek is prettier, but Oasis Springs has better homes for raising large families. And I like the park there better.

I didn't vote because I can't decide which one I love more.
Oasis Springs has the better park and cooler secret lot, but I love the shady green vibe of Willow Creek (and that was where my first Sim lived, so it will always be dear to me).

I wasn't a big fan of oasis springs before, but all the great build items from JA look very natural in this world so it's definitely grown on me

Willow Creek was the only world I played my family until Brindleton Bay came along. Now that's my favorite.

Willow Creek is my pick. I think it is prettier.
