I build a lot of restaurants and cafes but I think there are still more pubs in my game simply because I didn't delete the original ones that came with every pack. 😄

I love making restaurants, but what do your sims do at cafes? I've always been curious about that, as I find them boring.

They basically eat and socialize, same as they would in a restaurant, but I add different activities on the lot that they can do so the cafes have different vibes or theme. In San Myshuno I have a cafe that's meant to be an internet cafe, so there's computers on the lot and there's also a couple of painting sale walls outside so you can buy some art if you go there and there's also a small artist studio upstairs if your artists want to paint away from home. In Windenburg I have kept the book theme for the Hare Square cafe and added board games as well. In Finchwick, the cafe is decorated to look more like a tea house, with little teapots on the tables. Sims can read and do cross stitch there. It has very cozy vibe. In San Sequoia I have a cafe inside a big green house and sims can roller skate there and use the big microscope and collect cuttings or seeds from some rare plants if they need. In Del Sol Valley I have a cafe that's themed around famous sims, so it's decorated with autographed pictures on the walls and they can watch movies, play ping pong and harass famous sims for autographs and spray paint on the wall. There's a dumpster too.

Awww, I especially like the sound of the Finchwick café as it seems like just the kind of place I would like to visit irl. Tea and scones and a bit of cross-stich.
