I see the good side to them, well first of all we dont know how many packs the sims 4 has left, all packs go with a theme and all items and gameplay have to go with that theme, with kits because they are smaller they can add content they cant add through packs because it doesn't go with the theme that's coming next, we can have endless possibilities with this, a sleepwear kit, casino kit, arcade kit, smoothie maker etc
Exactly this!! A lot if people fail to see the endless possibilities this brings to get stuff we normally wouldn't. I love them so far. I have all 3 and it's a blast. I personally have no problems with the price. I think it's fair but that's just my opinion.
Sorry, but I will disagree with you on the price. All three of these kits combined have less content than 1 stuff pack (except maybe the first few created) and cost nearly as much as a game pack. I think 2-3 dollars would be a little more fair unless they decide to add more content to the kits later on.
That doesn't mean I'm not hopeful for later kits. I'm just not entirely sold on the first 3 (except maybe the kitchen, I just want more swatches for versatility).
Honestly I hope they do more collaborations with cc creators. And personally I would love something like a skin details CAS kit. It could be an opportunity to add a lot of CAS assets players have been asking for. Body hair, vitiligo, more tattoos, stretch marks etc. Personally I would love more freckles options and those cc eyelashes the simmers I watch use. They're so pretty, I want them! Maybe also some nailpolish?
