I'm no expert on gaming, but I honestly don't agree with the theory, nor with the idea that it applies to much outside of RPG's (and even with those, I feel it only loosely applies).
I really struggle to fit myself into any of those categories, primarily because I play different games for different reasons. I play LoL for the PvP aspect, so that might make me a killer. But in a different game, I might be playing for socialization. In another, I might be aiming to be one of the top players. And then in other games, none of the four seem to hit the mark for me.
TS4 is one of those latter games, for me. I don't play it with any of those purposes in mind. If anything, I started playing it to get away from having to focus on all of those things. I enjoy them all, in different games, but when I start up TS4 I'm not looking for any of them.
