I couldn't choose two, so I just chose family. My families are usually made up of 7-8 sims.

I have a variety of saves, but I think my actual favourite is Crazy Cat Lady - single sim, fill the rest of the slots up with cats. Preferably some of those weird strays where you zoom in to look and them and HOLY YIKES WHAT IS THAT FACE???

I like to play the whole community, so yes to all of those.

Mostly it's single. I just know I play them with more pleasure and for longer stretches. It's my default when trying new packs ect also.
I could have picked other as I do play all types especially in rotation but it's time limited. I'm setting up an 8 sim household of casters going ... kind of as a lock down challenge with a purpose of having casters that I made for future saves and I'll revert to playing a single household again fairly soon.

I play families but I play single sims and couples that eventually become families over time.

I also play different types of families like teen parents, cousins raising their kids together, older siblings in charge of younger, all sibling families.

Stuff like that as well ?

I DID just start 3 YA sims as roommates to test out Island Living, more on clubs, some unused aspirations, and a uni mod. It has been a blast!

Family play, couple or single sim. I play families mainly but won’t say nuclear as some of my families are lgbt but I do have nuclear families too. I have played roommates in the past and enjoyed it a bit. However I don’t know what is 8 sim hell is unless it means playing 8 sims which I’ve done as roommates and family previously.

rotational player so all of the above, although my 8 "sims" households are rare and are usually filled up with pets (like 4 sims and 4 pets), I preffer smaller households.

I play equally both singles and families. I do this in separate saves, one for dozens of single Sims and my main game for some of the same Sims who have families. I love both playstyles. Toddlers and young adults are my favorite life stages so I enjoy both in both games.

idk i usually make one sim play them for a while then get them spouse and start legacy with them kiddos

though i try to avoid 8 sims at once since it gets hard to play

Same here. Actually I don't think I have any 8 sim households in my rotation. I should probably try it out.
