What's Your Process for Naming Your Sims?
What is your process for naming your sims?
I like to match baby names to their heritage. For example, Cassandra Goth fell in love with a townie called Omar Ghomari. I looked up the surname Ghomari and found out it's Algerian. So, I researched common names from Algiers for their baby boy, and I found one I really loved - Tariq. I also like for my sims to be traditional and name children after former family members, but it's okay if the name is not an exact match, so I made his middle name Xander in honor of his uncle Alexander Goth.
(FYI, the relationship cheat does not work if you have a space in your name, so I put a hyphen between my sims' first and middle names in game, but when I'm writing them out in my blog, I just write them normally, with a space.)
So, I'm curious, do you have any special things you do to choose names for your children? Please share your process and pictures.
P.S. This is the first post I'm starting after becoming a full member. Thank you to everyone who got me here by liking my previous comments. I appreciate your friendship and support. I'm super happy to be able to ask you guys questions and share screenshots with you now. :)
