When you play Sims, how do you guys usually name your sims? Are they normal names? Names based off of something? Names you make up that everyone kind of judges you for? I'm curious, because I have so...

I like passing down similar sounding names in a family, derived from a grandparent, distant relative or honored mentor. Jacques de Villareal's grandaughter is Jaqueline, for example and if she gets a brother he'll most likely end up being Yukimura (Yuki Behr is the mother).
I also have an old baby name book on my desk that I consult in case I run out of ideas. The book has some real old-fashioned danish, dutch, german, russian, slavic and biblic names that fit the wacky sims world surprisingly well. There's times when my sims have a different background and I need to google or just make up something, but the book is my first go-to.
