I’ve got it set to Long but I see that as the maximum lifespan. I still want to age up my sims when I feel they’re ready and have achieved all I wanted to do with them. I previously had ageing turned off with the same aim in mind, but found that I just didn’t age anybody up at all and I could drift for sim weeks without actually achieving anything with some sims. I’m hoping that having a lifespan ‘deadline’ will help focus me, without the pressure I felt from shorter lifespans. I also hated having to kill off elders myself (even using MCC), so they’ll probably get to live their full Long elder number of days.
