When are fish EVER going to be more interactive to be an actual pet?

Since stocking a fish bowl or aquarium is mostly just for looks alone as they don't die.

This has bugged me to no end since I had this game not having some simple interactions with the fish like feeding them and just watching them. I mean they're fish there's not much you can do with them either way, but I thought at least being able to care for them would be nice. They're mostly just a storage for ingredients, decoration, and fertilizer. The cowplant is more of a pet than they are. Was thinking abou tminor pet's with the whole recent 'stuff pack' and fish can be a minor pet but they really just lack interactions.

Yeah, they're nice for decoration, but I'd like to actually do more than just look at them.

    :p Then don't?

Less you just like the decoration purposes of it there can always be a separate different tank for pet fish? Though I've always liked the fact one could take care of the fish since it was a fairly minor pet to have if you weren't into like animals that required more maintenance. Thought it was odd you couldn't interact with fish more like you could in previous installments.

Or being able to feed fish maybe once every three sim days. Fish out lives multiple generations of my sims. :#

Haven't you heard? Fish are immortal holy beings in the Sims 4.
