I took for granted that It would be announced at EA Play. Didn't they do It with Get Together years ago?

Really makes sense since they confirmed that The Sims would be present at the event.

What I am wondering is, why would they shut 32bits pcs? Weird. Maybe they announce a big update as well?

Btw, I like the idea of the Tropical pack (loved It at Sims 3), but I wanted University pack so bad that I'm quite sad :(

By the way EA Play is June 8th on a Saturday.

Since the last teaser was a load of baloney. I doubt anything unless its EA Play otherwise WHY bring Sims 4 there? If nothing is announced there, then I expect nothing till August/fall.

I am hoping an announcement will come soon, probably next week or at EA Play in 2 weeks. I am a bit stuck with my save at the moment since I am waiting to see what EP is coming next to prepare my worlds and sims for it.
I have a household full of teens that are only 3 days away from ageing up and I want to know what do I need to prepare them for. Will they be the 4 couples that move into the new world to populate it or will they all go to university together?
I am pretty sure the leaks are correct and we'll get a Tropical kind of EP but is it a holiday destination or a residential world?

If it's an EP (as rumored) it will probably be a residential world.

That's what I'm hoping for but you never know.

late August is Gamescom. when and where EA usually announces Sims type stuff. Usually at I Play they don't do much in the way of announcements for Sims - it's just mainly for EA's tournaments and for Simmers to meet the devs, and new people to try the game.

Actually they generally only announced Sims stuff when EA went to E3, but the last few years they have been holding I Plays instead of going to E3 and/or holding a Conference to announce things (mainly EA's Big Games and new games). I heard EA was not even doing a Conference on any of their games at I Play or E3 this year - just having their big Tournaments over the 2 days of I Play - and meeting Lyndsay and Duke. Of course maybe they will surprise us.

Didn't they announce the last GP just one week before it came out? I wouldn't expect any announcement until June...
