When was the Last Sims 4 Steam Sale?
I know there was an Origin sale not too long ago since that is where I purchase my packs, but I am not sure about Steam. A friend's birthday is coming up and I would like to help her catch up on packs...

Just the games they have. Technically they are both online game marketplaces tied to developers, but Steam definitely has a bigger variety and, in my opinion, more sales. If you want EA games, though, they are requiring Origin. So if you buy Steam, you sign up for them both there.
I'm one of those people that does overtly avoid the inconvenience of multiple launchers. I like all my games to be organized together, if possible, and multiple launchers running constantly slows computers down.
