When will the Sims 4 become too taxing for average users pc? 29 packs currently...

I was having issues at one point with Get To Work, when I took the issue to EA Answers HQ they wanted my computer 411, they literally were shocked my laptop ran the game at all lol...I don't run on laptop mode and I have it on the highest settings. I did make a small little video for youtube and I saw where the FPS rate was not good ...I think eventually I will have to get a new computer but Old Betsy has really done her job.
