My sim does have alot of friendships and I did not know that was one of the things that could cause issues, I did know about inventory and try to keep it clear as possible, and I clean cache daily. This does happen alot, I get really excited about all the stuff coming out but I tend to forget when I am excited how many issues I still have even though I have a really good system to use it on. Hope it works out, I am really looking forward to the new stuff.
Are you playing in fullscreen mode or borderless window? It's been a while, but I used to have that same freezing issue where I would have to restart the computer as well until I switched to borderless window. Ever since I switched to borderless window, I have had no problem with freezing and having to restart the computer.
