It is really hard to say at this point. One would assume there is a plan for 5 in the works, and has been, but that means very little especially in terms of predicting a timeline. I could believe that they could have simultaneous development and that we will have packs in 4 until its launch. The thought of a carefully crafted 5 somewhat comforts me, but I have no true expectations of 5 or 4's ending state.
Honestly, 4 still feels like it needs stuff to me. I understand the issues with core mechanics, I have many of the same gripes, but even some regular things like certain occults and parts of family play are missing. 4 does not have that many special firsts in comparison to its relatives to make it that memorable. I understand the temptation to bury it, but had I been ready to do that it would have been at base.
Those that are ready for 5, feel free to ignore 4. It will eventually get here. In the meantime, I plan to enjoy what I can.
