When Will You be Getting Your Sims Ready for Christmas?

I throw up all the wintery decorations the moment winter rolls around in my game and take them down a few days into spring - buuuuuuut, I've also spent around 3 months building and fine-tuning a 'Christmas lodge' in Granite Falls just to take one of my lucky sim families away for the in-game Christmas/New Year season this year too. >.>

I don't really get my sims ready for anything and if i make christmas builds probably like december 1st at earliest

but at the same time i don't really like christmas irl either the only good part for me really is the decorations :neutral:

so i prefer to stay with spooky season as long as possible cause decorations for that are much more fun and i actually like halloween

(maybe because lot of people don't celebrate halloween here so it doesn't get boring as heck like christmas)

also as someone pointed out i do in game holidays whenever like if its midsummer and winterfest pops up then so be it

(+i do often actually purposefully try to time so winter of my sims is during irl summer cause i like watching cool snowy scenery during heat wave it has some sort of mental healing effect)

I haven't played in months, but I might add some "new" festivities when I play next.

Lupercalia, Saturnalia, Samhain, Yule, Hogmanay...

Hanukkah is coming and my sims will celebrate that in the new world for snowy escape.

Very pretty and the windows are lovely also.

My sims celebrate when it comes on the calendar, but when it comes, I go all out in the sims with presents etc, I recently found it that the present pile can be used for birthdays I couldn't believe it yay, so for those of you that didn't know like me, if you buy a present bundle, the birthday sim can pick out birthday gifts
