When Your Sim Autonomously Cheats On A Term Paper!

Question

I'm nearly positive I did NOT click on him to plagiarize a Term Paper. That choice is on the top, write a Term paper is on the bottom. Yet, I get this odd music and a popup telling me Aaron got caught trying to plagiarizing a paper. Anymore attempts to cheat … "Aaron, shame on you. You've got the smarts to do this without resorting to cheating. I'm quite shocked and dismayed. What kind of an example are you presenting to your younger siblings and the rest of your Dormmates?" Not only that but he submitting it on his own, too. Now, what do I do?

Oi, I have to work double-time just to get them through Uni. Face/palm. This is not my first time through, either. Just a first for somebody to try to cheat their way through. Any advice? Besides watching this one like a hawk?

How interesting. Do you think it has to do with your sim's traits as to why he summited a plagiarized term paper? I know one thing to save time for my sims is to submit the term paper and or presentation board in poor state, do homework, take notes in class. Pretty much gets your sim an A+

I make certain the presentations and term papers are at their best. I even have my Sims practice presenting before they give their final presentation. I'm gobsmacked over this. Not only did he plagiarize, but he submitted on his own, too. I swear, they've gone A.I. on me. LOL My Sims take notes in class, as well. They all end up graduating Magna Coom Laude (In my mind it's Summa Coom Laude, since most of them get straight A+s all the way through). I haven't taken any Sims through Uni in awhile now. I'm wondering what has changed. Me, or the game? :open_mouth:

On the other hand, Continue Writing Term Paper is on the top and Submit Plagiarized Term Paper is on the bottom. If you just clicked the bottom choice without reading it, you might have chosen to plagiarize. I've never had any Sim submit a term paper without being told so it seems unlikely Aaron did this autonomously.

I would probably quit without saving if it happened to me but I guess that's not your play style. I'd suggest doing some extra work by studying for the course Aaron cheated on and consulting the professor for that course to see what kind of grade to expect. Also, check any mods you might be using that affect which actions are autonomous.

It might be possible as an autonomous action. Sims can autonomously learn Programming and as teens this can lead to autonomously trying to hack grades.
