Where are the storylines, plots, scandals & drama?

I’d like Sims to have more depth in backstories inc. family dynasties, secrets, scandals & interconnecting plots. A more dystopian game where there is capacity for drama, tragedy & anger amongst the h...

I use the game as a character creation tool/sketchpad and while it does not have a story of its own, you can create your own stories. It just takes planning and sadly, mods.
