Interesting how many people imagine Forgotten Hollow as European! I never even considered it would be near Windenburg. I imagine it as a version of “Sleepy Hollow”, a place inspired by a real town in New York State (USA). Same. But I guess it could be inspired by many different countries and stories really, so probably could see it fit in with America or Europe. I am also reminded more of the story Sleepy Hollow, I am assuming that is where it gotten it's name from. I can see a world based off of Salem Massachusetts for witches since it is really famous for the witch trials.
