Where Do Your Clubs Meet?

I have about 50 clubs in my game right now, but don't have played sims in any of them at the moment. I'm using them mostly to add active unplayed sims at all the community lot types so for club gathering locations, mostly I've set them to 'any" of lot type x.

For painting and art viewing, I have one club set to gather at 'any art center' and another set to 'any museum'.
For clubs set to "any library" I have one club for just teens and children, with reading and doing homework and I have another for YA and adults, set for reading and socializing (like a book club).
For 'any cafe' I have my knitting and cross stitch clubs and then another one really similiar to the YA/adult library one, but have them set to also like writing.
For 'any parks" i have a few chess clubs (seperated by age), a basketball club, a grill master club and also seperate teen and children's club for playing on the various equipment there.
For 'any night club' I have clubs set to do night club activities, dancing, drinking, etc. I also have one night club with bowling alleys so I have one club set to that specific night club for bowlers.
For 'any lounge' it is clubs set to play instruments or sing and another club set to "watch performances".
For bars, it's clubs set to play bar games, socialize and drink. Most of these clubs I have set to each specific bar though, so that the bar crowd feels more varied based on the bar I'm in. I have 2 bowling alleys in bars as well, and have bowling clubs set up that are set just to those specific bars.
For gyms, I have basket ball clubs, yoga/wellness clubs and workout clubs. All of my gyms have a pretty much all the things needed for all of those.
I have only one club set for spas, and that is a yoga/wellness activity club.
I have a skiing and snowboarding club and also a children-only sledding club, set to the Onsen.
I have beach clubs for children, for teens, and for YA/adult set to "any beach'.
I have a fans club set to gather at the starlight accolades with club activities to fawn at and talk about celebrities. And I have multiple celebrity-only clubs who gather at the various specific bars, clubs, lounges that are set as 'hot spots' by lot trait. I seperated them out further with trait requirements so the ones with good/friendly/social/etc. celebrities will interact positively with fans, while the ones with evil/mischievous/arrogant/etc. celebrities will be mean to fans.

For my 'alien club" which is nothing but aliens allowed, I set them to gather in the Strangerville bar. :lol: For my two "vampire clubs" which only allow vampires, I set them both to gather in a bar in Forgotten Hallow which also has a secret mausoleum in the basement which I use for legacy interment and a graveyard in back which I use for unplayed sims that I am fond of. For my Mermaid only club, I have them set to gather at 'any beach' and for my spellcaster-only club, I have them set to gather at the Magic HQ.

Pretty much you can either pick gathering locations based on one specific venue where you want to see the club and which has the necessary club activity objects, or you can set them to "any " which works really well for clubs with activities that match whatever the 'required objects" are for that lot type. Clubs will often then show up on those lots when you visit them with active sims.
