Is there any way to find out where a sim lives? My character is a single male and he hit it off with a woman who walked past his front door. They tried for a baby, the woman got pregnant. I tried to keep her around when the time of the birth was drawing nearer and even got a bassinette so she would maybe give birth at my lot, but when it was time, she suddenly just vanished into thin air and then my dude got a phone call from her, saying she'd given birth to baby twins. Now I'd like the dude to go meet his kids, but I have no idea where the woman (and children) even live. Her last name doesn't match any of the lots in my neighborhoods. So is there any way for him to meet his children?

If she's a "homeless" Sim you could probably move her into a house, have her move in with you, or hopefully the babies will age up into children and you'll be able to invite them over (I think aging has to be on for that?) Just guessing :)

Okay, I tried moving her in with me and it turns out that a menu pops up where you can choose whether the babies move, too, or not. So now I just have to move her and the kids someplace else *g*

Oh, I didn't get to name them - I just got a call saying "hey, you got twin daughters named this and that". So that's the trouble of fathering a child to a random woman, I suppose. You don't get to name them and you don't even know where they live (they were indeed "homeless"). But now that I moved them, I at least get to visit *g*

What can I say? He got lonely, I made him go outside and talk to people and things got serious pretty fast ;)

Is her name on your sims phone to call her? She may be 'homeless'

If she's a "homeless" Sim you could probably move her into a house, have her move in with you, or hopefully the babies will age up into children and you'll be able to invite them over (I think aging has to be on for that?) Just guessing :)

Make sure to play the household, I think they have a lower chance of getting culled that way.

This is really interesting. My sim keeps having twins. The third pair already... I thought twins were fairly uncommon? And no, he doesn't have family aspiration or fertility rewards or anything like that. He's just a regular guy (who, apparently, should be taught how contraceptives work).

Too bad there is no such thing as alimony in sims :stuck_out_tongue:

The tuning in regards to child birth is terrible. What would normally be a small chance of having twins/triplets is now very likely. I've already had 3 sets of twins. They claimed to have fixed the issue in the latest patch but if it is still happening to you it looks like they spoke too soon on that front.
