I had a play around with some of my games settings and decided to give the Sims 4 camera style another try, by which I mean how you control the camera with the mouse; I just can't get on with it so quickly switched back the option for Sims 3 camera style. I'm so used to the way the mouse works in Sims 3 and previous iterations that to change it to Sims 4 style is just too much of a wrench for me. Which style of camera control do you use?

I tried the TS3 controls but I couldn't figure how to use them. :neutral:

In fact, I use both. I use TS4 & TS3 if I want to decorate/build, especially with the rotation flexibility of the TS3 style. But, for the live play, I prefer to use the TS4 style..

I never played TS3 and I got used to the TS4 camera really quick. I prefer dragging the screen over using the scroll button, because I rotate the screen a lot and it feels lighter to me. I only wish that TS4 camera had the option to rotate objects freely. I sometimes switch to TS3 camera to give my houses the finishing touch, glad we have that option.

I find Sims 4 camera controls simpler. Plus my mouse wheel click doesn't work super well, so that makes the Sims 3 camera difficult for me. I do prefer the S3 camera for screenshots and building, sometimes.

In fact, I use both. I use TS4 & TS3 if I want to decorate/build, especially with the rotation flexibility of the TS3 style. But, for the live play, I prefer to use the TS4 style..

:) I think both of the camera styles have their pros and cons.. But, I believe that some people like to use both..

I use the sims 4 camera because I like to move around by clicking and dragging the screen, and I can't do that with the sims 3 camera.

I became very accustomed to using the TS3 camera style because I had been playing TS3 since it first came out. When I try to play TS4 camera it doesn't feel right at all. I believe the reason they added the TS3 camera option is for those players like me who got very comfortable with the TS3 camera.
