It was a hard choice between resorts, houseboats and stilted foundations, but in the end I chose stilted foundations, because I think I would get the most use from this feature. I would like the others as well, though.
But, to me, the most important feature of all that I would expect to see is one that didn't come with Island Paradise at all, because it was already available in Sims 3 -- namely swimming in the sea. I cannot imagine an Island Paradise type expansion where Sims were not able to swim in the sea. That would be a deal-breaker for me.
