Which Goths Do You Prefer?

I prefer the 2000 version. I've actually never actively played the Goth household in TS4... :#
If I played them, I would give them a makeover to my tastes.

I think the new Bella and Cassandra are pretty enough, but so were the old ones and I'm used to those versions now. Mortimer and Alexander I don't really like the new ones at all.

I dunno, I always though Bella was supposed to be the epitome of beauty and neither version of her is very beautiful in my opinion. I'm disappointed. I also don't understand the huge makeover on Alexander, I thought he's always been pale like his dad. I feel like the first version of him was far more representative of Alexander Goth than the new one. I do like the new Cassandra and Mortimer, though they could have advanced Mortimer in his career, or changed it even.

I prefer the older ones, I prefer the Sims 2 ones the most, but for Sims 4 I like the older versions.
I didn't like how they messed up on the skin tones for the older Sims 4 versions, but the newer versions skin tones have almost an ashy undertone. It looks a little off to me.
I also don't like how old they made Bella look, there was an age difference between Bella and Mortimor, more so in Sims 2, though.
Also, I don't like the hairstyle they gave her, and the dress doesn't suit her. Bella always had the short red dress in all of her appearances.

I think, overall, I prefer the new Goth family. But when I first saw Mortimer, I didn't even recognize him. ?

After getting up close in CAS the differences are too much. My eye didn't register the changes as much in live mode and screenshots. I like your better

I think this base game outfit combo would have worked better as a substitute for her dress, without looking too out of place for an everyday outfit. Also, I think flats work better than the party heels, and the lighter stockings with the seem at the back. Finally, I think she needs less clunky jewelry.

I like your better

Thank you so much. I like her better in the second shot with the narrower mouth and fuller lips. You really have to see her up close in CAS to fully appreciate how different she is in this newer version, or I did anyway.?

I really wish they uploaded the old ones to the gallery . The new look ,I have mix feelings on they give off a ore gothic vibe which is good.

I think I'm going to download the old Goths on every new game I start, but I won't remove the new ones. I'll just change their last names, move them to Strangerville and make them eat bizarre fruits. >:)
